My Philosophy
About me
Hello and thanks for stopping by to learn about me and my offerings. My name is Lacie, I am an advocate of the body's inherent ability to self heal with time and support. I promote natural medicine when possible and use non-invasive modalities that give people a better experience of their bodies and their healthcare. A central principle of my practice is encouraging clients to be an active and knowledgeable participant in their healing and performance. Exploring together for the root cause of dysfunction and unwanted sensations. My philosophy in bodywork is to provide a scientific approach and clinical assessment as a foundation to employ a fine tuned detection for lack of movement, circulation or mispatterning in muscle, fascia and connective tissue.
I am a proud Oregon native, a lover of nature, science and culture, a seeker of knowledge and a person who relishes a hearty laugh and all things ‘feel good’. I value freedom, curiosity, meaning and kindness. I hope to share my passion for self healing and embodiment with you, so you may experience yourself and your life in a way that brings you gratitude. In my time away from bodywork you will find me close to any water source, diving the oceans of this great blue ball, traveling by backpack, insatiably learning about the body and all its miracles, rafting with my river family and spending a lot of time alone to restore my energy. I hope to meet you and share stories and body based healing soon.

Conscious Kindness and Technical Understanding.
What I offer
I specialize in therapeutic applications to help those experiencing chronic pain or injury, or to meet the needs of those looking to improve performance or movement.
Through calming or stimulation of the nervous system we can direct a change in muscular tone and the body can find its optimal state of ease. Myofascial techniques promote tissue layer glide while supporting lymph and circulatory movement.
You may be asked to produce movement, describe sensation or bring awareness or breath to an area. The use of cupping, gua sha, heat and oils is complementary to each treatment and discussed with each session.
